Registration fees and other administrative fees for the 2025/26 regular season are outlined below.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Regular Registration Options: Choose one of the following options when you register.

1. Full Payment option:100% at time of registration (select the full payment box on the payment screen)
2. Four-Payment option: RAB Fees due at the time of registration then three equal payments. The 2nd payment made September 1^st, 2025, the 3rd made on October 1^st, 2025, and the 4th on November 1^st, 2025.

Late Registration / Special Arrangements / Financial Assistance
If you are a late registration OR if you need to arrange an alternate payment option or are applying for a financial assistance program, please contact our Registrar at registrar@lethbridgeringette.ca to discuss on an individual basis. REGISTRATION FEES 2025/26 SEASON

The annual Ringette Alberta (RAB) member fee is $101.50 (not included in the registration fees above) 

Regular registration for U10-U19 closes September 14.  

U10 Step 1, Step 2 and Step 3 placement will be determined by the player’s age / birth year and their evaluation results.

GOALIE INCENTIVE: ($300)

LRA supports our FT goalies in age groups U14-U19 by offering a reduction in their registration rate. U12 goalies that commit to 50% play may be eligible for a rebate on registration. This will be determined during evaluation / conditioning camps in September and a credit will be applied to fees.

VOLUNTEER POLICY and PARENT COMMITMENT:

Importance of Volunteers

Volunteering of time, resources and ideas is critical to the sustainability of LRA as a non-profit organization. The LRA volunteer policy therefore relies and requires a parent/guardian of players or adult players themselves, to meet the following commitments:

1. Volunteering Shifts: Each family will be required to complete 5 volunteer shifts during the year up to a maximum of 10 shifts for those with multiple children in Ringette. *** Open Players are NOT exempt and must meet this obligation ***
2. Cash for Christmas Raffle: Each family will be required to sell 2 books of 10 tickets per child, up to a maximum of 4 books for those with multiple children in Ringette. *** Open Players EXEMPT - see below ***
3. Team-Related Volunteer Activities: Individual teams also require parents to contribute their time and do their part to help support the individual teams. *** Open Players EXEMPT - see below ***

The policy applies to players registered in U10 to U19 divisions. The LRA Board of Directors is responsible to identify and define what constitutes Association-related volunteer activities. Volunteer opportunities will be available throughout the year for parents/guardians of players and players over the age of 18 to fulfil their hours.

Volunteer Shift Categories

The current volunteer sign-up categories include:

1. Tournaments,
2. Administration,
3. Team Staff,
4. Organizational
5. Highway Clean-up

Tracking LRA Volunteer Time

The Director of Volunteers will keep track of volunteering shifts completed by volunteers.

Failure to Meet Volunteer Commitments

If a parent/guardian of a player or player over the age of 18 has not met their volunteer commitments, there will be an additional $400.00 per player, to a maximum of $600.00 per family, charged to the player's registration cost in the subsequent year and will not be able register until this penalty has been paid in full. Failure to meet volunteer commitments includes being late to an assignment that hinders volunteer activities; and not being able/qualified to work the shift the individual has signed up for.

Missed Shifts / Last Minute Cancellations.

Volunteer Exemptions

The Board is responsible to determine what exemptions are allowed for volunteer obligations. In recognition that Board members and Head Coaches already volunteer time towards Association-Related Volunteer Activities in excess of the time commitment required under this Policy, board members and head coaches are exempt from any further Association-Related Volunteer Activities. This exemption can be revoked or expanded at the discretion of the Board.

Volunteer Buy-out

Buyouts will only be considered during registration. The current volunteer buy-out amount is $400 per player to a maximum of $600 / family.

Team-Related Volunteer Activities

Individual teams also require parents to contribute time and resources to support games, tournaments, and team-specific costs such as team swag or team gatherings. It is also expected that parents/guardians of players or players if over the age of 18 will volunteer for team-related volunteer activities which do not count towards Association-related volunteer hours. Team-related volunteer hours include the following:

1. Time/Score Keeper.
2. Penalty Box person.
3. Shot Clock (U12 and up).
4. Team based fundraising activities such as bottle drives to support tournament participation or team gatherings.
5. Any other activity declared by the LRA to be a Team-related volunteer activity.

OPEN PLAYERS REGISTERED THROUGH LRA:

Open players registered through LRA will be required to complete volunteer credits. The volunteer credits required will be determined by the board before October 1st. Credits may be assigned on a per team or per player basis. Opportunities may be provided that are not offered on the general list of association volunteer activities. Volunteer cheques will not be required.
